I’m Alexandra García, freelance conference interpreter and translator, and my work involves building bridges so that language and cultural barriers are, quite literally, the least of your problems!
In 2017, I obtained my Dual Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English-French and English-German) from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and, in 2018, I completed my Master’s in Conference Interpreting (English, French, and Spanish) from the University of La Laguna—awarded the seal of quality of the European Masters in Conference Interpreting (EMCI). I then decided to set out into the world of work with one very clear goal: turning my passion into my profession! So, since 2019, I’ve been working as a freelance translator and interpreter on assignments and events of all kinds in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and surroundings.
